AN ACT ALLOWING RANKED-CHOICE VOTING IN MUNICIPAL
ELECTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 9-173 of the general statutes be amended to permit the 1
use of ranked-choice voting in the election of municipal officers. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To allow ranked-choice voting in municipal elections.
