AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAID COVERAGE FOR DONOR BREAST
MILK.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require 1
Medicaid coverage of medically necessary donor breast milk supplied 2
by a breast milk bank accredited by the Human Milk Banking 3
Association of North America. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide Medicaid coverage for medically necessary donor breast
milk.
