Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 31-51g of the general statutes be amended to prohibit a 1 law enforcement unit from requiring a polygraph examination as a 2 condition of obtaining employment as a law enforcement officer. 3 Statement of Purpose: To prohibit a law enforcement unit from requiring a polygraph examination as a condition of obtaining employment as a law enforcement officer.
