AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY OF THE CONSOLIDATION OF PUBLIC
SAFETY ANSWERING POINTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, 1
in conjunction with regional councils of governments, study the 2
consolidation of public safety answering points and determine the 3
amount of funding necessary to establish regional public safety 4
answering points that serve one or more municipalities with a 5
population of four hundred thousand or more. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To require a study of the consolidation of public safety answering
points.
