AN ACT CONCERNING RE GIONAL EXERCISES ON EMERGEN CY
RESPONSE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) At least once every two 1
years, the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, in 2
conjunction with the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association, shall 3
organize and conduct a regional training exercise, involving state, 4
regional and local agencies, on responding to a major emergency. 5
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 from passage New section
Statement of Purpose:
To require regional exercises on responding to major emergencies at
least once every two years.
