AN ACT CONCERNING MOTOR VEHICLE NUMBER PLATES FOR
MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 14 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, at the request of any person who is a 2
member of the armed forces, regardless of such person's status as a 3
veteran, as defined in subsection (a) of section 27-103 of the general 4
statutes, to issue special number plates reflecting the particular 5
military branch in which such person served. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide members of the armed forces with special number plates.
