AN ACT PROHIBITING PREDATORY PRACTICES OF BUSINESSES IN
RELATION TO THE DRIVE-ONLY MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR'S
LICENSE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to protect consumers from the 1
predatory practices employed in assisting a person obtain a drive-only 2
motor vehicle operator license. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To protect consumers from the predatory tactics employed in assisting
a person obtain a drive-only motor vehicle operator's license,
including, but not limited to, requiring a person to purchase certain
motor vehicle insurance or attend a certain driving school.
