AN ACT PROHIBITING THE BOARD OF REGENTS FOR HIGHER
EDUCATION FROM MERGING INSTITUTIONS WITHIN THE
REGIONAL COMMUNITY -TECHNICAL COLLEGE SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (a) of section 10a-6 of the general statutes be 1
amended to prohibit the Board of Regents for Higher Education from 2
merging institutions within the regional community-technical college 3
system. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the merger of institutions within the regional community-
technical college system.
