AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROVISION OF DIAPERS TO NEEDY
INFANTS AND TODDLERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of not more than four million dollars be appropriated 1
to the Department of Social Services, from the General Fund, for the 2
fiscal year ending June 30, 2020, for grants-in-aid to the Diaper Bank of 3
Connecticut to purchase and distribute fifty diapers per month to fifty 4
thousand needy infants and toddlers. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent health and employment risks when parents can't afford
disposable diapers and lose access to child care facilities that require
disposable diapers.
