AN ACT CONCERNING CHILD VICTIMS OF RAPE OR PROSTITUTION EMPLOYING PHYSICAL FORCE TO DEFEND THEMSELVES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 53a be amended to create a presumption that a child 1 victim of rape or prostitution who uses physical force as self-defense 2 reasonably believed that there was an imminent threat of death or 3 serious bodily injury posed to such child. 4 Statement of Purpose: To protect child victims of rape and assault who defend themselves.
