AN ACT CONCERNING SE MI-MONTHLY TRANSFERS OF
SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITI ON BENEFITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. Section 17b-105a of the general statutes is amended by 1
adding subsection (d) as follows (Effective July 1, 2019): 2
(NEW) (d) The Commissioner of Social Services shall distribute 3
benefits under the supplemental nutrition assistance program not less 4
than twice per month. 5
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 July 1, 2019 17b-105a
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Commissioner of Social Services to distribute
supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits twice per month.
