AN ACT VALIDATING THE DECEMBER 11, 2018, REFERENDUM IN
THE TOWN OF GROTON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) Notwithstanding any provision of 1
the general statutes or any special act, charter or ordinance, the vote 2
cast by the electors and voters of the town of Groton at the referendum 3
held on December 11, 2018, relating to approval of an appropriation 4
for the design and construction of the Groton 2020 Plan and the 5
authorization of the issuance of bonds to finance said appropriation, 6
otherwise valid except for the failure to timely publish notice of said 7
referendum, is validated. All acts, votes and proceedings of the 8
officers, officials and representatives of the town of Groton pertaining 9
to or taken in reliance on said referendum, otherwise valid except for 10
the failure to timely publish notice of said referendum, are validated 11
and effective as of the date taken. 12
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:

Groton.
