RESOLUTION PROPOSING A STATE CONSTITUTIONAL 
AMENDMENT CONCERNING THE TERM OF OFFICE FOR 
LEGISLATORS. 
Resolved by this Assembly: 
 
That section 10 of article third of the Constitution of the state be 1 
amended to increase the term of office for members of the General 2 
Assembly from two years to four years and to provide that no senator 3 
or representative may serve more than two terms in such office. 4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To increase the term of members of the General Assembly to four years 
and to impose term limits.
