RESOLUTION PROPOSING A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT 
CONCERNING LENGTH OF LEGISLATIVE SESSIONS. 
Resolved by this Assembly: 
 
That article third of the amendments to the Constitution of the state 1 
be amended to provide that (1) the General Assembly convene for not 2 
more than forty-five days per calendar year, and (2) members of the 3 
General Assembly receive a salary commensurate with such shorter 4 
session and no fringe benefits.   5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To make the General Assembly a true part-time legislature.
