Resolved by this Assembly: That the Constitution of the state be amended to permit any 1 qualified elector to cast an absentee ballot without needing to satisfy a 2 specific reason enumerated by law, rather than be required to appear 3 at a polling place on the day of an election. 4 Statement of Purpose: To eliminate the requirement that an elector satisfy a particular reason specified by law in order to cast an absentee ballot.
