RESOLUTION PROPOSING A STATE CONSTITUTIONAL
AMENDMENT PROHIBITING THE DIVERSION OF FUNDS FOR
ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND CLEAN ENERGY.
Resolved by this Assembly:
That article third of the Constitution of the state be amended to add 1
a provision prohibiting the General Assembly from diverting funds 2
intended for energy efficiency and clean energy programs collected 3
pursuant to sections 16-245m and 16-245n of the general statutes. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the diversion of funds for energy efficiency and clean
energy programs collected pursuant to sections 16-245m and 16-245n
of the general statutes.
