AN ACT CONCERNING PAYMENT OF CERTAIN FINES PRIOR TO
THE RESTORATION OF ELECTORAL PRIVILEGES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (a) of section 9-46a of the general statutes be 1
amended to provide that the payment of all fines in conjunction with a 2
disenfranchising conviction shall no longer be required for the 3
restoration of a person's electoral privileges. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To no longer condition the restoration of electoral privileges on the
payment of all fines in conjunction with a disenfranchising conviction.
