AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF AN ADDITIONAL BAY FOR STORAGE OF
EQUIPMENT AT A VOLUNTEER FIRE STATION THAT BORDERS
ROUTE 2 IN MARLBOROUGH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
five hundred thousand dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by 4
the Department of Administrative Services for the purpose of 5
providing a grant-in-aid to the town of Marlborough for the 6
construction of an additional bay for storage of equipment at a 7
volunteer fire station that borders Route 2 in Marlborough. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the construction of an additional bay for
storage of equipment at a volunteer fire station that borders Route 2 in
Marlborough.
