AN ACT REQUIRING IMPROVEMENTS TO THE NEW CANAAN RAIL
LINE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of 1
Transportation to add a passing siding at the New Canaan train 2
station. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To construct a passing siding at the New Canaan train station to allow
train cars to be stored on the passing siding as opposed to stacked at
the end of the line which causes unnecessary delay.
