AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE
REPLACEMENT OF WINDOWS AND OTHER IMPROVEMENTS AT
THE CHESTNUT STREET THEATER IN NORWICH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
twenty-five thousand dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by 4
the Department of Economic and Community Development for the 5
purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the city of Norwich for the 6
replacement of windows and other improvements at the Chestnut 7
Street Theater. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the replacement of windows and other
improvements at the Chestnut Street Theater in Norwich.
