AN ACT CONCERNING AUTHORIZATION OF BONDS OF THE STATE
TO THE TOWN OF HEBRON FOR REPLACEMENT OF
CONTAMINATED WATER LINES IN HEBRON ELEMENTARY
SCHOOL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
one million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the 4
Department of Public Health for the purpose of providing a grant-in-5
aid to the town of Hebron for replacement of the contaminated water 6
lines in Hebron Elementary School. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To provide financial assistance to Hebron to replace the contaminated
water lines in Hebron Elementary School and bring the level of lead
contamination to zero.
