AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE MAJOR 
GENERAL MAURICE ROSE ARMED FORCES RESERVE CENTER IN 
MIDDLETOWN. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1 
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2 
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3 
____ dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of 4 
Veterans Affairs for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the city 5 
of Middletown for veterans programming, a small business incubator 6 
space and a veterans community center at the Major General Maurice 7 
Rose Armed Forces Reserve Center in Middletown. 8 
Statement of Purpose:   
To provide funding for the Major General Maurice Rose Armed Forces 
Reserve Center in Middletown.
