AN ACT CONCERNING NO NPROFIT ORGANIZATION EMPLOYE E
STATE VEHICLE USE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2019) For the purposes of this 1
section, "nonprofit organization" means a nonstate entity that receives 2
funds from the state, and may receive federal or other funds, to 3
provide direct state services to state agency clients and "state fleet 4
vehicle" is described in section 4a-67d of the general statutes. On and 5
after October 1, 2019, any contract that the Commissioner of 6
Administrative Services enters into or renews with a nonprofit 7
organization to authorize the employees of such nonprofit 8
organization to use state fleet vehicles shall permit such employees to 9
use a state fleet vehicle in the course of their employment when 10
performing services that are not state services. 11
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:

vehicles when not providing state services.
