AN ACT REQUIRING THE AUDITORS OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTS TO
CONDUCT FINANCIAL AND PERFORMANCE AUDITS OF MUNICIPAL
ELECTRIC ENERGY COOPERATIVES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Auditors of 1
Public Accounts to conduct regular financial audits and performance 2
audits of municipal electric energy cooperatives in the state. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Auditors of Public Accounts to conduct financial and
performance audits of municipal electric energy cooperatives.
