AN ACT CONCERNING COTTAGE FOOD PRODUCTS AND THE 
PRODUCTION OF HONEY AND MAPLE SYRUP. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That section 21a-62b of the general statutes be amended to exempt 1 
maple syrup and honey from the definition of cottage food products. 2 
Statement of Purpose:   
To keep the production of maple syrup and honey under the 
cognizance of the Department of Agriculture.
