Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1 issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2 general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3 five million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the 4 Department of Economic and Community Development for the 5 purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the town of Stratford to rebuild 6 the Shakespeare Theater in Stratford. 7 Statement of Purpose: To provide funding for the rebuilding of the Shakespeare Theater in Stratford.
