AN ACT CONCERNING AUDITING OF ELECTION DAY
REGISTRATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 9-19j of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Secretary of the State to establish and implement procedures to audit 2
(1) election day registration applications accepted, and (2) confirmation 3
notices of such accepted applications sent by and returned to registrars 4
of voters. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require the audit of election day registrations and subsequent
confirmation notices of such registrations.
