AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NURSING HOME PROVIDER USER TAX
EXEMPTION FOR MATTATUCK HEALTHCARE FACILITY, INC.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 17b-320 of the general statutes be amended to exempt 1
Mattatuck Healthcare Facility Inc., the only free-standing rest home 2
with nursing supervision in the state, from the resident day user fee 3
assessed on nursing homes. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To address the disparate reimbursement formula for the only
operating, free-standing rest home with nursing supervision in the
state.
