AN ACT REQUIRING MEDICAID COVERAGE OF TELEHEALTH
SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Commissioner of Social Services to integrate telehealth services into 2
the medical assistance program, provide Medicaid reimbursement for 3
such services and seek any federal approval necessary. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To encourage the use of telehealth services for Medicaid recipients.
