AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO DEVELOP A FACILITY
AND RESOURCE PLAN FOR PERSONS WITH INTELLECTUAL
DISABILITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That a task force be established to (1) study the short-term and long-1
term needs of persons with intellectual disability, (2) assess alternative 2
underutilized resources that may be repurposed to meet such needs, 3
including, but not limited to, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers, 4
and (3) develop a state-wide facility and resource plan to meet such 5
needs. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a task force to develop a facility and resource plan to meet
the needs of persons with intellectual disability.
