AN ACT ESTABLISHING RATIONAL HOSPITAL PRICING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow Connecticut to apply 1
for a Medicare waiver that exempts the state from the inpatient 2
prospective payment system and outpatient prospective payment 3
system and allows the state to operate an all-payer hospital regulation 4
system and establish rational hospital pricing. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To establish rational hospital pricing.
