AN ACT CONCERNING THE REVIEW OF A PERSON FOR DISCHARGE FROM COMMITMENT BY THE PSYCHIATRIC SECURITY REVIEW BOARD. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That part V of chapter 319i of the general statutes be amended to 1 require the Psychiatric Security Review Board to consider factors other 2 than risk when making a determination as to whether to discharge an 3 acquittee from commitment to the jurisdiction of the board. 4 Statement of Purpose: To allow for the Psychiatric Security Review Board's comprehensive consideration of multiple factors in its decision-making process.
