AN ACT ALLOWING THE RETAIL SALE OF CIDER BY CERTAIN PERMIT HOLDERS AND FARMERS' MARKETS AND CREATING A CIDER PUB LICENSE AND A CONNECTICUT CIDER FESTIVAL PERMIT. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapter 545 of the general statutes be amended to (1) allow the 1 holder of a manufacturer permit for cider to sell cider by the glass to be 2 consumed on the permit premises, (2) create a cider pub license, (3) 3 allow holders of a tavern permit to sell cider for off-premises 4 consumption, (4) allow the sale of cider at farmers' markets, and (5) 5 create a Connecticut Cider Festival permit. 6 Statement of Purpose: To promote the cider industry in Connecticut.
