AN ACT CREATING AN OFFICE OF INNOVATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish an Office of 1
Innovation responsible for encouraging innovation in government and 2
business, including, but not limited to, (1) assisting state agencies and 3
municipalities with establishing pay for success financing programs 4
and (2) working with higher education officials to assist educators and 5
students in starting businesses related to their research and areas of 6
expertise. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To create an Office of Innovation responsible for encouraging
innovation in government and business.
