AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE STATE OVERSIGHT COUNCIL ON
CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 17a-4 of the general statutes be amended to establish 1
the State Oversight Council on Children and Families in place of the 2
State Advisory Council on Children and Families, and require the State 3
Oversight Council on Children and Families to report annually to the 4
joint standing committees of the General Assembly having cognizance 5
of matters relating to appropriations and children. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To establish the State Oversight Council on Children and Families in
place of the State Advisory Council on Children and Families, and
require the State Oversight Council on Children and Families to report
annually to the joint standing committees of the General Assembly
having cognizance of matters relating to appropriations and children.
