AN ACT CONCERNING FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 53a of the general statutes be amended to establish the 1
crime of mutilation of female genitalia of minors as a class D felony 2
offense. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To establish the crime of mutilation of female genitalia of minors as a
class D felony offense.
