AN ACT PERMITTING MUNICIPALITIES TO COMBINE THE
PROPERTY ASSESSMENTS OF MULTIPLE ELECTRIC GENERATING
FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 32-71a of the general statutes be amended to permit a 1
municipality in which an electric generating facility is located to enter 2
into an agreement to combine the real and personal property 3
assessments of such facility with those of new electric generating 4
facility or facilities constructed at the same location. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To permit municipalities to enter into tax agreements to combine real
and personal property assessments of multiple electric generating
facilities.
