AN ACT REQUIRING THE USE OF TELEMEDICINE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Department of Social Services to integrate telemedicine into the 2
medical assistance program and to update telemedicine definitions to 3
more accurately serve rural areas. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Department of Social Services to use telemedicine in the
medical assistance program and update telemedicine definitions to
more accurately serve rural areas.
