AN ACT CONCERNING MENTAL HEALTH PARITY, SUBSTANCE USE
DISORDER PARITY AND MEDICATION -ASSISTED TREATMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) require health carriers to 1
report data to the Insurance Commissioner concerning mental health 2
and substance use disorder parity, and (2) eliminate certain restrictions 3
concerning medication-assisted treatment. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require health carriers to report data to the Insurance
Commissioner concerning mental health and substance use disorder
parity, and eliminate certain restrictions concerning medication-
assisted treatment.
