AN ACT CONCERNING RAILROAD EXPRESS COMPANY POLICE
OFFICERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 29-19 of the general statutes be amended to allow a 1
railroad express company engaged in the business of transportation in 2
this state to establish a railroad police department and employ officers 3
certified by the Police Officer Standards and Training Council under 4
section 7-294d of the general statutes. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To allow a railroad express company engaged in the business of
transportation in this state to establish a railroad police department
and employ officers certified by the Police Officer Standards and
Training Council.
