AN ACT CONCERNING THE PRUDENCE CRANDALL SAFETY AND
LEARNING INITIATIVE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to institute the "Prudence 1
Crandall Safety and Learning Initiative" by establishing an education 2
savings account task force that shall be responsible for analyzing and 3
identifying (1) how other states have implemented education savings 4
accounts, including a review of parent satisfaction, student 5
achievement and student eligibility, (2) means of funding education 6
savings accounts, (3) program administration and account structure for 7
education savings accounts, and (4) methods for establishing academic 8
and fiscal accountability and cost savings for education savings 9
accounts. 10
Statement of Purpose:
To institute the "Prudence Crandall Safety and Learning Initiative" by
establishing a task force to study education savings accounts.
