AN ACT REQUIRING AN AIR QUALITY STUDY IN TOWNS THAT MAY
BE IMPACTED BY CERTAIN POWER PLANTS IN NEW YORK STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require an air quality study 1
in towns, such as Sherman, that may be impacted by the on-lining of 2
the Cricket Valley Energy Center in Dover, New York. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a baseline for air quality in towns that may be affected by
the natural gas burning energy plant to be opened in Dover, New York
in 2020.
