AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL GRANTS TO COMBAT AQUATIC 
INVASIVE SPECIES. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That section 14-21aa of the general statutes be amended to further 1 
provide grants for nonprofit lake associations and municipalities for 2 
aquatic invasive species management efforts in lakes, rivers and 3 
affected bodies of water. 4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To offer opportunities for local entities to address the growing issue of 
aquatic invasive species in order to mitigate their economic, ecological 
and recreational negative impacts.
