AN ACT IMPLEMENTING THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE
WORKING GROUP OF THE ALCOHOL AND DRUG POLICY COUNCIL
CHARGED WITH EVALUATING METHODS OF COMBATING THE
OPIOID EPIDEMIC.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to implement the 1
recommendations of the working group of the Alcohol and Drug 2
Policy Council, convened pursuant to section 4 of public act 18-166, set 3
forth in its January 1, 2019, report entitled, "Evaluation of Methods of 4
Combating the Opioid Epidemic in the State of Connecticut". 5
Statement of Purpose:
To address the growing problem of opioid abuse in the state.
