AN ACT REDUCING THE COST OF MAMMOGRAMS, BREAST
ULTRASOUNDS AND MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING OF
BREASTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require providers to lower 1
the costs of providing mammograms, breast ultrasounds and magnetic 2
resonance imaging of the breast. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To lower the costs of performing breast cancer screenings and ensure
the affordability of such care.
