AN ACT CONCERNING THE SALE OF COPPER WIRE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require an individual who 1
sells copper wire to a purchaser to present photo identification and the 2
purchaser to maintain a record of the contact information of such 3
individual. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the fraudulent purchase and resale of copper wire.
