AN ACT CONCERNING PROVIDERS OF MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING 
FOR POLICE OFFICERS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That chapter 104 of the general statutes be amended to designate the 1 
Autism and Law Enforcement Education Coalition as an authorized 2 
provider of training on mental health issues as part of a police officer 3 
basic or review training program conducted by the Division of State 4 
Police within the Department of Emergency Services and Public 5 
Protection, Police Officer Standards and Training Council or any 6 
municipal police department. 7 
Statement of Purpose:   
To designate the Autism and Law Enforcement Education Coalition as 
an authorized provider of training on mental health issues for police 
officers.
