AN ACT LOWERING THE EXCESS COST THRESHOLD FOR SPECIAL
EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (b) of section 10-76g of the general statutes be 1
amended to reduce the reimbursement threshold for special education 2
costs from four and one-half times the average per pupil cost to two 3
times the average per pupil cost. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the reimbursement threshold for special education costs
from four and one-half times the average per pupil cost to two times
the average per pupil cost.
