AN ACT CONCERNING TIP CREDITS AND ALLOWANCES FOR
GRATUITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to regulate tip credits and 1
allowances for gratuities in a manner consistent with the federal Fair 2
Labor Standards Act. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To create parity in the federal and state statutes to reduce the
administrative burden on restaurants.
