AN ACT PERMITTING THE COLLECTION OF THE MOTOR VEHICLE
PROPERTY TAX BY NEW AND USED CAR DEALERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 14-33 of the general statutes be amended to permit new 1
and used car dealers to collect any property tax on a registered motor 2
vehicle that remains unpaid. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To facilitate and increase the collection of motor vehicle property taxes.
